Why should I use a professional pet sitter?There are many advantages to you and your animals. How much does it cost?Prices start at $15/visit. Please see the Rates page for more information.

How much notice do you need?We recommend you call 1.5 to 2 weeks, if possible, before the care is needed. That way there is plenty of time to schedule an initial consultation if needed and you can verify availability. We do understand that emergencies arise and we will make every effort to accommodate you in those situations. If you are traveling during any holidays we recommend reserving your dates as soon as you know them, as these are our busiest times.

What happens when I call for the first time?We will discuss your animals, what type of care you are looking for, and the dates the care is needed. We will then schedule the initial consultation.

What happens at the initial consultation? Our Consult is a one time $16 charge     
This gives you a chance to meet with us and us a chance to meet you and your animals. We will discuss the specifics regarding your animal and home care needs. You will also be given an exact price quote at this time. If you decide to use our service, we will go through the paperwork – the service agreement, vet authorization, policies, etc., and we will obtain a key to your home.

How many visits a day do you provide?That is up to you!

What do you do in case of an emergency?That depends on the type of emergency. Generally speaking, if something were to happen to your sitter, a backup plan is in place to ensure your animals are taken care of. If an emergency occurs with your animal, you and your preferred vet will be called and/or the animal will be transported as necessary. If there is an emergency in your home, the appropriate authorities and/or preferred repair service will be contacted as well as your local emergency contact and you. Specifics can be discussed at the initial consultation.

Do you accept tips?Yes! If you are happy with the service provided, tips are appreciated
